Let's face it, building a business is difficult. For most entrepreneurs, it takes a team to start and run a company. Mentors are one of those important team members. A mentor is someone who has more entrepreneurial business experience and serves as a trusted confidante over an extended period of time, usually free of charge. Mentors usually serve in this role because they want to give back to their community and to society at large. Also, mentors may get involved to develop their skills as a teacher, manager, strategist, or consultant. A true mentoring relationship works in both directions— in which the mentor can also learn about new ideas from the mentee.

Join us in a casual and social environment as we hear from the following startup entrepreneurs about how they benefited from mentors from True Mentors and Founder Institute Chicago.

•Justin Romano, Founder, Backspace (True Mentors mentee)

•Langston Hill, Founder, AdThrill (True Mentors mentee)

•Will Jenkins, Founder, Synollo (Founder Institute Chicago mentee)

•Alexis Nido-Russo, Founder and CEO, Local Eclectic (Founder Institute Chicago mentee)

We will provide beer, soda, and pizza.

Event is sponsored by Founder Institute Chicago, True Mentors, MakeOffices, Law Office of Jon M. Adler.
